Me and English

I started to learn English 11 years ago, when I was in 5th class of basic school.

When I was 14 years old I went to the Netherlands to International youth festival arranged by organization Atlantic Bridge.

First of all would like to tell you something more about this organization before I continue speaking about time I spent with this organization. This organization is christian organization, but you don´t have to be christian to be a member. It´s connecting people from different countries, behariours and colours of skin. I had a pretty good oportunity to learn English and meet new people from abroad. I got known about it from my teacher on grammar school and in the summer I went to the Netherlands for 14 days. I wasn´t in English so good, you know I was learning English only 4 years when I went to the Netherlands.

First weak was exchange and we lived in families and had common programs. I spend this first weak in smal town called Goes.

The second weak was International youth festival in Nijverdal and I have met many friends there.

First days were for me really hard, because I don´t understand much, but it got better and better and after 14 days I went home with a lot of great memories, and hundrests of new words I learned in English. A year later I went to another international camp to see my friends again.
